What hellcat supercharger upgrade gives the best power-per-dollar? ▾
For most builds, the FAS Dominator 2.4L package delivers 800–900 WHP on E85 for less than a full Whipple or Magnuson swap. If your factory IHI is in good shape, that is usually the most efficient path.
Do I need the Dominator package or just a porting service? ▾
If your blower is mechanically healthy, a standalone porting service with a pulley and tune can reach the 750–800 WHP range. The Dominator package adds the billet snout, upgraded bearings, and supporting hardware for a more complete build path.
Does the 2.4L billet snout fit the Redeye? ▾
No. The standard Hellcat 2.4L and the Redeye 2.7L use different snout geometries. The 2.4L billet snout fits standard Hellcat, Trackhawk, and TRX platforms, while the 2.7L package uses the correct Redeye hardware.
Can I ship my supercharger without bringing the whole car? ▾
Yes. The 2.4L and 2.7L IHI rebuild services are ship-in. Remove the blower, pack it securely, and ship it to FAS Motorsports for rebuild and return service.
What vehicles does the 2.4L Dominator package fit? ▾
The 2.4L IHI platform covers the standard Hellcat Challenger and Charger, Durango SRT Hellcat, RAM 1500 TRX, and Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. Confirm trim and year before ordering because the Redeye uses the 2.7L unit.
Is a tune required after upgraded bearings or a billet snout? ▾
Not usually for those mechanical reliability upgrades alone. A fresh tune is recommended when the snout work is combined with airflow or pulley changes.
