-
What is the difference between the FAS800 and FAS900? ▼
The FAS900 adds a larger fuel system and ported intake over the FAS800 path, targeting roughly 100 additional WHP and supporting E85 variants. The FAS800 is designed for 91–93 octane pump gas and street-focused builds, while the FAS900 targets more aggressive street-and-strip use.
-
Which FAS package is right for a Hellcat Challenger that sees street use only? ▼
The FAS800 is the most popular street-focused package for Charger and Challenger platforms. It targets 800 WHP on pump gas, runs on 91–93 octane, and is documented for street drivability. The Factory Freak is the right choice if you want warranty-safe bolt-ons with no ECU modification.
-
Do any FAS packages support E85 fuel? ▼
Yes. The FAS900 has an E85-compatible variant path. The FAS1000 can also be built around an E85 fuel system. The FAS800 and Factory Freak are pump-gas focused.
-
Can I start with the FAS800 and upgrade to the FAS900 later? ▼
Tier upgrades are possible in some cases, but each package is a complete installation. Upgrading tiers later means additional labor and parts cost rather than a simple swap. If you expect to grow into a higher tier quickly, it is typically more cost-effective to start at the higher tier.
-
Does the FAS1000 require internal engine work? ▼
The FAS1000 path typically requires built internals for sustained 1,000+ WHP reliability. The exact scope depends on your vehicle's existing condition, planned use, and fuel system. Contact FAS for a build scope conversation.
