Diesel performance is fundamentally an airflow problem.
The 6.7L Powerstroke makes power by injecting fuel into compressed, hot air and igniting it under extreme pressure. More air in, more fuel burned, more power out. The entire modification path — intake, intercooler, piping, exhaust — is about getting more air into the engine and getting combustion gases out faster.
Understanding how these systems connect matters. Modifying one without understanding the others is how you end up with a build that underperforms, overheats, or breaks.
