Porting
Quick Answer
What is a hellcat ported snout?
A hellcat ported snout is the inlet section of the Hellcat IHI 2.4L or 2.7L supercharger after CNC porting work removes restrictive casting flash and enlarges the air path. The result is higher CFM through the snout into the rotor pack at any given pulley speed. FAS performs this service in-house in Punta Gorda, FL, with flow-bench validation before return shipping.
$699.99
Expect gains of 40-60rwhp on 2.4L (Hellcat / Trackhawks / Durango HC / TRX) Superchargers paired with a 108mm Throttle body, and 80-125rwhp gains on 2.7L (Demon / Redeye) Supercharger paired with a 108mm Throttle body!
How It Works
You ship your part. We port it in-house. It ships back faster than you'd expect. Here's the exact process.
Place Your Order
Add the porting service to your cart and check out. Your order number is your job tracking ID — write it on a slip of paper and pack it inside the box with your part.
Ship Your Part to FAS
Remove your part, clean it, and ship it to our shop in Punta Gorda, FL. Use insured shipping — UPS Ground or USPS Priority both work. Include your order number inside the box.
We Port It In-House
Your part is ported by FAS technicians at our Punta Gorda facility — not sent out. Every job is bench-inspected before and after work. We've been doing this since 2002.
Shipped Back. Flow-Tested.
Once ported and verified on the flow bench, we pack your part and ship it back. Typical turnaround is 5–10 business days from the day we receive it.

Shipping Tips
- 01Use UPS Ground or USPS Priority — both deliver reliably to Punta Gorda, FL
- 02Declare full value and add shipping insurance — porting cores can be expensive to replace
- 03Wrap threaded ports with tape or foam to protect threads in transit
- 04Use a hard-sided box with at least 2″ of padding on all sides — no envelopes
- 05Do not use packing peanuts for supercharger snouts or throttle bodies — they get inside ports

What Comes Back Is Different
"Sent my snout in on a Monday, had it back by the following Thursday. Flow numbers were noticeably better — my tuner commented immediately that the blower was seeing more volume before we even touched the tune. FAS did exactly what they said they'd do."
"I was nervous about shipping my heads across the country. Called FAS before I ordered — they walked me through the whole process, confirmed what to expect, and it went exactly as described. Heads came back looking like completely different pieces. The flow improvement is real."
"We've sent four different cores to FAS for porting over two years. Every single one came back on time, with flow sheet documentation. When a customer asks "how do you know it's better?" I hand them the flow report. That's what separates FAS from everyone else doing this work."
