Supercharger Upgrades
The C7 Z06's LT4 has the bones for serious power — it just needs the restriction taken out. FAS ports, rebuilds, and upgrades the Z06 supercharger for more flow, tighter boost control, and cooler inlet temps. Ship us the core or bring the car in.
Why C7 Z06 Owners Come to FAS
The C7 Corvette Z06 (2015–2019) runs the supercharged 6.2L LT4 with a 1.7L Eaton TVS R1740 blower from the factory — the same proven positive-displacement unit found on the Camaro ZL1 and Cadillac CTS-V. It makes serious power out of the box, but the factory supercharger is built conservatively for longevity, not maximum flow.
Where Z06 builds plateau — and where owners feel the car pulling timing on a hot track day — is the supercharger's snout geometry, rotor clearances, and outlet porting. None of it is optimized for maximum output from the factory. FAS precision ports the Z06 supercharger assembly to open the airflow path, tighten clearances, and recover the efficiency the casting leaves on the table.
Because the Z06 shares the LT4 supercharger with the ZL1, CTS-V, and CT5-V Blackwing, FAS has high production volume and validated specs on this exact unit. For the full engineering breakdown of the LT4 blower, see the LT4 supercharger platform page.

What FAS Does on the Z06
Corvette Z06 Supercharger Services
Primary Service
Z06 Supercharger Snout Porting
The biggest bottleneck on the Z06's LT4 blower is the snout inlet geometry. FAS precision ports the snout to open the airflow path and reduce turbulence at the rotor inlet — hand finished and flow-validated. The result is improved top-end response and lower inlet temps at sustained boost.

Z06 Supercharger Rebuild
Worn rotors, failed bearings, or oil contamination on a high-mile or pushed Z06 blower? FAS rebuilds the LT4 assembly to tight tolerances — usually faster than sourcing a replacement, and the rebuilt unit performs better than stock. Rebuilding anyway? Add porting while it's apart.

Bearing Upgrade
High-boost Z06 builds put elevated load on the factory supercharger bearings. FAS installs upgraded-spec bearings as a standalone service or as part of any full build package — cheap insurance against a roadside failure.

LT4 Supercharger Platform
The Z06 shares its 1.7L Eaton TVS blower with the ZL1, CTS-V, and CT5-V Blackwing. For the complete technical breakdown of what FAS does to the LT4 supercharger and why, see the full LT4 platform page.

Does FAS supercharger work apply to the C8 Z06?▾
The C8 Z06 runs the LT6 — a naturally aspirated, flat-plane-crank 5.5L V8 with no factory supercharger. FAS supercharger porting and rebuild services apply to the C7 Z06 (LT4) and to C8 Z06 cars running an aftermarket forced-induction kit. Contact FAS to discuss kit-specific work on a boosted C8.
What does porting the C7 Z06 LT4 supercharger actually gain?▾
On a supporting build with tune and fuel, snout and outlet porting typically returns 15–30 wheel horsepower plus a more consistent boost curve and lower inlet temps. It is a permanent gain that stacks with pulley and fuel-system upgrades.
My C7 Z06 heat-soaks and pulls timing on the track. Can FAS help?▾
Heat soak on the C7 Z06 is a known limitation of the stock supercharger and intercooler setup. Precision porting improves flow efficiency, which lowers the work the blower does for a given boost target and helps inlet temps — but on a dedicated track car it should be paired with a cooling-system strategy. FAS can advise on the full picture.
Can I ship just the supercharger, or do you need the car?▾
Ship the supercharger core. The LT4 unit on the C7 Z06 is accessible without full engine removal, and FAS accepts shipped cores nationwide for snout porting, rebuild, and bearing work. We turn it around and ship it back.
Is the Z06 supercharger the same as the Camaro ZL1 unit?▾
Functionally yes — the C7 Z06, Camaro ZL1, CTS-V, and CT5-V Blackwing all run the 1.7L Eaton TVS R1740. The porting approach is the same across these LT4 platforms, which is why FAS has deep production experience on the unit.
